Down Day to update maps, blogs, and such
Since we’ll be spending most of the day in the Driggs library using the internet connection to update maps for the rest of the trip, I’ll post some pics of our journey through Teton Pass – where EM was born, in the back of a yellow pickup truck on state road #22.
Honest. At least that’s her story and the smile on her face makes it authentic!
It will always be gopher pass to me. The mother(?) gopher was so intent on pulling the yarn of a hat apart for nesting material – it totally ignored us. I almost stepped on the poor critter. It gets cold up here. Guess some good quality wool is worth the risk.
Driggs is pretty cool looking, so I’ll post some pictures of town once I’m finished here.
Up to West Yellowstone tomorrow – the floods and entry rules make it impractical for us to go into Yellowstone, so we are going around. Even with the restrictions, there are probably still way to many people there for us to feel the love.
